Activating the Power of the Holy Ghost
Concluding our August 2025 Prayer and Fasting series "Living the Power of the Word of God: The Believer's Dominion," Bro. Enoch Kwateh Dongbo delivers a powerful final message on activating the power of the Holy Ghost. Building on the previous six days of teaching about dominion, authority, stewardship, and faith, he reveals the practical steps to release the Holy Spirit's power in our lives. Through meditation, prayer, fasting, and faith-filled speech, believers can move from theoretical knowledge to experiential power, walking in the fullness of our God-given authority and dominion.
On the final day of the August 2025 Prayer and Fasting, the message “Living the Power of the Word of God: The Believer’s Dominion” reached its powerful conclusion. The emphasis was clear: dominion is not automatic—it must be intentionally activated. To live in the power of the Word of God, believers must activate the power of the Holy Ghost. This final teaching tied together the week’s lessons on authority, stewardship, faith, and dominion, providing practical steps to walk in supernatural power.
Meditation and Prayer – Life from the Word
Meditation was presented as the cardinal foundation for Holy Spirit empowerment. Drawing from Joshua 1:8 and Acts 6:4, the message stressed that transformation and success flow from consistent engagement with Scripture through prayer and meditation. True meditation is not speed-reading chapters but dwelling deeply on verses until they come alive in the believer’s life. By repeatedly declaring truths like John 1:12, “I am a child of God,” the Spirit quickens the Word into living reality (John 6:63). This practice builds authority, insight, and a reservoir of spiritual life for daily application.
Prayer and Fasting – Positioning for Power
The second key is the discipline of prayer and fasting. Luke 24:49 and Acts 1:8 remind believers to tarry until empowered by the Holy Spirit. Fasting, exemplified by Esther’s three-day fast (Esther 4:16), positions the believer for boldness and breakthrough. Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness (Luke 4:14–15) also demonstrated that prayer and fasting produce spiritual power. Fasting is a serious spiritual practice, equipping believers to face life’s battles with authority and equipping them for the realities of spiritual warfare.
Speaking and Responding with Faith – Releasing Dominion
The final step involves faith-filled response and confession. Proverbs 23:7 teaches, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,” urging believers to act as though God’s promises are already manifest in their lives. Faith is expressed through both belief and declaration—speaking God’s promises over circumstances (James 4:7; Proverbs 4:18). Scriptures such as 1 Peter 2:9, Isaiah 40:31, and Deuteronomy 28:13 form the foundation for bold declarations of identity, strength, and victory. The more these truths are declared and meditated upon, the more they come alive and produce transformation.
A Time of Declarations
The message culminated in a time of fervent prayer and declarations. Believers spoke God’s promises over families, careers, health, and destinies: “My business shall flourish,” “I shall not die, but live,” “Every altar speaking against me is condemned.” These declarations embodied the three keys—meditation, fasting, and faith-filled speech—combined to activate spiritual power in their lives.
Walking in Activated Power
As the seven-day journey concluded, the call was unmistakable: dominion is practical, not theoretical. It is activated through consistent meditation on the Word, disciplined fasting, and bold declaration of God’s truth. Applying these principles allows Christians to move from knowledge to experience, walking daily in God-given authority and dominion.
Closing Reflection
Ask yourself: Am I merely hearing the Word, or am I activating it? Pray for grace to meditate deeply, fast faithfully, and speak boldly. As these three keys work together, the Holy Ghost’s power will be stirred in your life, enabling you to live fully in dominion.
